This is the line that separates us from most of the market. A number produced without opening the vehicle is a guess, and on a coach the guess is almost always low because guessing high loses the job. We charge for teardown, credit it, and stand behind the number. Full estimate policy.

Labor hours and calendar weeks are different numbers. A roof replacement is 20 to 80 labor hours and a 3 to 8 week job, because membrane lead time and adhesive cure windows cannot be compressed by adding people.

Work is billed direct with every major carrier. Insurance billed jobs may be billed at carrier negotiated labor rates that differ from the posted retail rates.

About the numbers
Why publish rates when almost nobody else does?
Because the alternative wastes everyone's time. An owner who reads that a full roof replacement runs into five figures and calls anyway is having a realistic conversation. An owner told a hopeful number who then gets a real one has a grievance, and they are right to.
Why are the bands so wide?
Because scope on a laminated vehicle genuinely varies that much. The same roof complaint is a $750 sealant job if the decking is dry and a $15,000 job if two years of intrusion reached the framing. The hour band next to each price is what explains the width.
What does a band marked plus mean?
That the top is open ended, because the scope on some jobs exceeds any sensible ceiling. A full collision restoration on a 45 foot coach can pass $150,000. Publishing a fake ceiling would be less honest than admitting the range runs off the end.
Is anything here free?
No, and that is deliberate. Every estimate tier is priced and credited against an authorized repair, so it costs nothing extra if you proceed. A shop giving away estimates on coach work is either guessing from the outside or recovering the cost somewhere you cannot see.
Do insurance jobs use these same rates?
Not always. Carrier billed work may be billed at a carrier negotiated labor rate that differs from the posted retail rate. Your deductible does not change based on which shop you choose.
Can you beat a written quote from another shop?
We do not price match, and a lower number on coach work is usually a narrower scope rather than a better deal. Bring the other estimate and we will tell you plainly what it includes and what it leaves for later.
