Coach length is the variable that moves everything
A 24 foot Class C and a 43 foot diesel pusher are the same repair and not the same job. Masking scales with surface area. Booth time scales with length. Structural measurement on a long chassis takes more setup and more reference points. On paint work in particular, the top of a band is very close to the bottom multiplied by the length ratio.
That is why bands on this page are wide. A band of $6,000 to $34,000 for full vehicle paint is not vagueness; it is an honest statement that a short Class B and a 43 foot coach with a three stage metallic are separated by that much. Tell us the length and the finish and the band narrows immediately.
Where coach work costs more than it looks like it should
Cap work. A front or rear cap on a motorhome is a single large molded piece bonded to the structure and frequently carrying the windshield frame, marker lighting, running lights, the roof transition and sometimes the entire dash structure behind it. Replacing one is a structural operation with a long parts lead time and a color match problem on both sides.
Onboard systems on a diesel pusher, for the same reason. An AquaHot or hydronic heat system is not an appliance, it is a plumbed and electrically integrated system running the length of the coach, and diagnosing one means tracing it. The diagnostic tier on the estimate policy page exists mostly because of systems like these.
Hacienda Heights owners with large coaches should read the facility statistics before committing to a long job elsewhere. Bay length decides whether a three week paint cycle happens indoors, and that decides finish quality more than any other single fact.
What is not on this page
Engine, transmission and drivetrain work is out of scope here and always has been. We are a body, structural, paint and onboard systems facility. A coach with a chassis driveability problem needs a chassis shop, and we will say so rather than take the vehicle in.
Also absent: any figure presented as a starting price with the real number arriving later. Every band on this page is the band. Where parts dominate a job and vary by manufacturer, the band says so and the parts and materials page explains how parts are quoted.

Why is the paint band so wide?
Length and finish. A 24 foot coach in a single stage solid and a 43 foot coach in a three stage pearl with full graphics are separated by surface area, booth hours, material cost and masking complexity, and all four move together. Give us length and finish type and the number lands within a few thousand dollars.
