Four Kinds of Owner Walk In Here, With Four Different Problems
OCRV Center works with four distinct groups: personal RV owners, commercial and business vehicle operators, mobile business owners whose vehicle is their storefront, and municipal and government fleets. Each group has different constraints on cost, down time and documentation, and each is handled differently.
The four groups need genuinely different things
A retired couple with a Class A coach cares about the finish and the total, and they have calendar flexibility. A box truck operator cares about Monday morning and will accept a repair sequence that a coach owner would find unacceptable. A food truck owner cannot operate at all while the vehicle is down and has a health department inspection waiting on the other side. A city fleet supervisor needs a purchase order, a documented scope and a unit availability number to report upward.
Treating those four as one customer produces a shop that serves none of them well. The intake questions differ, the scheduling logic differs, and the paperwork differs. What does not differ is the labor rate and the published bands, which are the same for a retiree and a municipality.
How this changes what happens on your job
For personal owners, the emphasis is on the evaluation being thorough before anything is committed, because a coach owner is usually spending their own money and a surprise supplement is the worst outcome. For commercial operators, the emphasis is on staging parts before the vehicle arrives so shop days are the only down time.
For mobile business owners, we sequence work to compress the closed window even when that costs us efficiency, because a week of lost revenue dwarfs the difference. For municipal fleets, the emphasis is documentation: scope in writing, change orders in writing, and a completion package that survives an audit two years later.

I own one RV. Am I too small to matter here?
No, and single vehicle owners are the majority of what comes through the doors. The fleet capability exists because a 40 foot coach and a box truck need the same bay depth and the same paint booth, not because the shop prefers volume accounts.
Do fleets get a different rate?
The labor rate is published and it is the same for everyone. What multi unit work changes is sequencing and parts staging, which reduces total calendar time rather than hourly cost. A fleet that stages six units across three months pays the same per hour and loses far fewer unit days.
Do you take municipal purchase orders?
Yes, including standard net terms, and we work to city and county procurement documentation requirements. Scope, change orders and completion records are produced as written documents because a public agency has to be able to show its file.
