# Documents Worth Having Before You Need Them

## Documents that get used are documents that are already in the vehicle

Nobody reads a claim guide while their coach is intact. They read it in a parking lot twenty minutes after somebody backed into the rear cap, on a phone, with an adjuster on hold. Every document here is written for that moment: short, sequenced, and telling you what to do next rather than explaining the industry.

The photography guide is the one that pays for itself most reliably. Twelve specific shots, in order, with the reason each one matters. Owners who take those twelve photographs at the scene have a materially easier claim than owners who took forty photographs of the damage from four feet away and none of the surrounding context.

## The rate summary and why it is public

The rate summary lists labor rates, the priced evaluation tiers and the material policy on one page. It is the same document we hand across the counter. Publishing it removes the most common reason an owner drives 18.4 miles from Hacienda Heights and leaves unhappy, which is discovering the number at the end instead of the beginning.

Nothing on it is a promotion and nothing on it expires. Rates change when costs change, the page gets updated, and the version you downloaded stops being current. Check the date on the sheet against the date on the prices page before you rely on it.

**Do I have to give you an email address to download these?**

No. They are documents on a web page. Gating a claim photography guide behind a form would mean the owner standing in a parking lot cannot get to it, which defeats the point of having written it.

**Which one should a fleet manager start with?**

The down time planning document. It covers how to sequence a multi unit repair so the fleet keeps running, what to stage in advance, and how to structure a drop off calendar against our bay availability. For municipal operators with unit availability requirements, that sequencing is usually worth more than the repair discount they were looking for.
