# Accessibility Statement

This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Contrast, focus visibility, keyboard operation and target size are checked automatically on every build, and the site is usable with JavaScript disabled. This page states the target, the known gaps and how to reach us.

## The target and how it is enforced

The conformance target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Several requirements are enforced mechanically rather than by review: every text and background colour pair in the design system is validated to AA contrast on every build, and a build that would ship a failing pair does not complete.

Interactive targets are at least 48 by 48 pixels, which is stricter than the 24 pixel minimum the standard requires. Focus indication is never removed. Motion respects the reduced motion preference.

## Working without JavaScript

Every page renders its content as HTML. Navigation reaches every hub without JavaScript, the frequently asked question groups use native disclosure elements, and the estimate request form posts natively. JavaScript improves the experience and is not required to use the site.

## Known gaps

The map in the footer is a third party embed and we do not control its internal accessibility. The address and a direct maps link are provided as text immediately above it so the information does not depend on the embed.

Photography is presented with a colour treatment applied. Where an image carries information rather than decoration it also carries a text description.
